The Inspire 3 boasts an impressive array of features, including a 6K Zenmuse X9-8K Air gimbal camera that delivers unmatched image quality and clarity. The camera is equipped with a 1-inch CMOS sensor and a mechanical shutter that captures stunning 6K RAW video at 30 frames per second and 12-bit ProRes RAW video at 60 frames per second. The camera also supports a variety of interchangeable lenses, allowing cinematographers to capture shots with a wide range of perspectives and focal lengths.

To provide the most accurate and fluid camera movement, the Inspire 3 is equipped with the state-of-the-art DJI Master Wheels controller system. This advanced system employs high-precision sensors and advanced control algorithms to deliver precise and butter-smooth remote camera movement control. With the Master Wheels, cinematographers can achieve even the most complex camera movements with ease and precision.

The Inspire 3 is powered by a new TB51 dual-battery system that utilizes the latest battery chemistry technology for optimized reliability and performance. The TB51 batteries are smaller, lighter, and more streamlined than their predecessors, providing a 28-minute max flight time and support for hot swapping. The battery release has been redesigned to allow effortless continuous operation, while an auto-heating function maintains adequate flight performance even in locations with temperatures as low as -20° C (-4° F).

To ensure efficient and streamlined charging, the Inspire 3 comes with a foldable battery charging hub that can accommodate up to eight batteries. The hub can charge two batteries to 90% in just 35 minutes and eight batteries to 100% in only 160 minutes in Fast mode. The included 65W USB-C port can also be used to charge an RC Plus remote controller.

The Inspire 3 also features the newly designed DJI PROSSD 1TB, which supports a max read speed of 900Mbps. The footage can be read on a computer directly through the provided USB-C to USB-C cable without the need for a card reader. This streamlined workflow allows for faster and more efficient post-production.

The Inspire 3 is designed with ease of transportation and storage in mind. The all-new foldable trolley case comes equipped with an extendable handle, two side handles, and four 360-degree-movement wheels, making transitions and transportation effortless. The case can store one aircraft, one X9-8K Air gimbal camera, two RC Plus remote controllers, four lenses, twelve batteries, two battery charging hubs, three sets of propellers, and other items. The case is also equipped with two numbered locks for added safety.

The Inspire 3 is compatible with the DJI PRO ecosystem, which includes the DJI RC Plus remote controller, the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor, and the DJI Three-Channel Follow Focus. With the Three-Channel Follow Focus, focus pullers can achieve accurate remote focus control and stepless aperture adjustments to deliver an integrated wireless monitoring and control experience. When used with the High-Bright Remote Monitor, the Inspire 3’s gimbal can be controlled using DJI Master Wheels, providing a gimbal control experience on par with Ronin 2 to meet the operating habits of cinematographers.

The Inspire 3 also supports expanded monitoring on set with DJI Transmission. Connect an RC Plus to a DJI Video Transmitter with Broadcast mode enabled, and live feeds can be transmitted to an unlimited number of remote monitors, further improving coordination
